Description
Position Overview: The Supply Chain Support is responsible for assisting in the management, tracking, and control of inventory across the organization. This role ensures accurate inventory levels are maintained, helps with inventory audits, and supports supply chain operations. The Supply Chain Support works closely with the Supply Chain Specialist to streamline operations and minimize discrepancies in stock levels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management:
o Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies.
o Monitor stock levels and report shortages or overstock situations.
o Update inventory management systems with real-time data on stock movements.
2. Receiving:
o Support the receiving of goods by verifying incoming shipments, checking for damages, and ensuring correct quantities.
3. Data Entry and Reporting:
o Enter inventory data into the system and maintain up-to-date records of all stock transactions.
o Generate reports on inventory levels, shrinkage, and stock movements for management.
4. Inventory Audits:
o Assist in performing periodic physical inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
o Help resolve inventory discrepancies by investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions.
5. Organization and Housekeeping:
o Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and storage areas.
o Ensure that items are stored in the correct locations for easy identification and retrieval.
6. Reporting:
o Assist in creating reports for vendor compliance to maintain accurate inventory levels
o Support the operation team with reporting needs for internal usage 
7. Accurate SKU Creation and Data Entry:
o Generate unique and descriptive SKUs for new products
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED (Associate's degree in supply chain management or related field preferred).
• Experience in inventory management, warehousing, or logistics is a plus.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
